| To make the rules and forums more user friendly, we've updated things a bit. The mods will enforce these rules, sometimes without warning. If a mod is editing, deleting or moving a thread or post, they're not required to leave a reason why. Some will, some won't. If you have a problem with an edit or the like, and you wish to have a mod explain it to you, use the forum PM function. If a mod doesn't reply to your PM, or is unnecessarily rude or unkind, then make a thread politely asking for an explanation or PM another Community Mod. Do NOT resort to flaming any member of the mod team or another forum poster. Subsequent posts on the same topic will be closed and the poster reported for a ban. All that said, here are the General rules:
Any discussion of a non-TQ game or any other game except Conquer on the thread subject in any board other than Games and/or Spam under Non-Conquer is not allowed. Advertising for other games, providing links, bashing Conquer for another game, including mention in signatures, posts and threads, location and member title is not allowed except for Games and/or Spam Thread under Non-Conquer. Expect posts to be edited and/or Moved to the Spam or any other section without warning if them dont respect the subject.
Please keep the majority of the topics server specific. Threads with Light spamming and slight Off Topic posts will be tolerated, but there is a limit. Posts consisting of just +1; (or any other smiley); "o rly?"; or any other nonsense replies will be deleted. We want you to have fun, but we also want to keep the forums readable to new members.
Do not create threads solely to increase postcount, or celebrate it, they will be closed or most likely deleted.
Vulgar swearing is not allowed. Light swearing will be tolerated to a point. There is a profanity filter in place, bypassing this filter is not allowed. (example of bypassing: if "stupid" is a filtered word, writing it as "$tupid" "stup!d" or the likes, or using broken code is bypassing.) Any bypassing of the filter will be edited, if it continues, the poster will be reported for a ban. You are NOT allowed to teach others how to bypass.
Posting of pornographic material is prohibited. Furthermore, any content that is unlawful or acts of illegal conduct is subject to be removed immediately with/without warning (Moderator's discretion) and may result in a ban. Inappropriate content may include, but not limited to, the use of drugs, illegal drugs, pornographic content, under-age drinking, mistreatment of animals or humans, unauthorized posting of copyrighted or posting of people's pictures without their approval or consent, and use of vulgar words or expressions. This is a 13+ forum, not an 18+ forum. Moderators will use their best judgement to make a decision on what material is deemed inappropriate. Please respect the younger members of our community.
Posting of "real life" pictures of other people without his/her general consent or the authorization of that specific person is not acceptable and any material regarding that individual will be deleted/removed for the strict protection of that individual. Please request permission from that individual to post a picture. If you do NOT obtain permission and post without consent, you run the risk of having your Forum Account banned. For those pictures that contain a group of people, it may be allowed. Anyone who formally sends a complaint and a request for their picture to be removed may send a PM to a moderator.
Keep the name calling and flaming to a minimum. Having an opinion is fine, but there is a limit. Harassment or belittling others will not be tolerated. Posts and/or threads will be edited, deleted and closed if necessary. Realize that not all members speak English fluently - making fun of them because you may not be able to understand them will not be tolerated.
No personal arguments or conversations will be tolerated. This means two people dominating the thread(s) with personal conversations that cannot include another forum member, or arguments following the same format. A Personal Message (PM) function is provided, please use it.
This is an English speaking forum, however, we realize that not everyone speaks English fluently. If you wish to make a thread specifically for conversing with other members of your country, you are welcome to, but they follow the same rules as the rest of the forum and must have an ACCURATE translation provided. If an ACCURATE translation is not provided, the thread will be closed and/or deleted. Please make it known in the thread title that this will be a non-English thread. Flaming people in these types of threads for not speaking English will be deleted and the poster warned.
Non-English posts in an English thread must have an ACCURATE English translation or it will be deleted.
Re-Editing a Mod's edit is not allowed. There is a specific reason why your post was edited, and ignoring that Mod's warning will result in a ban.
Please note that this is not Conquer Official Forum, so please don't pretend to get help from any GM. However we want to help and encourage people playing this game.
Also Please note that this may be modified in the future.We can announce the modification, but we dont have to.Thanks for understanding.
